Meet Padmavati
Hi everyone, I am Padmavati, a spiritual name given to me by my Guru in India.
Having suffered health issues during my youthful years, I have been a natural health advocate for over 40 years and practised Yoga asana for over 20 years.
Walking through many bends on the road, I finally empowered myself to get to the front of the line, gladly and honourably inherited from the teaching lineage of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, as a Yoga Archaya (Master of Yoga) with the traditional unified and diverse holistic practices.
After all these years of meeting with and seeing many different types of sufferings across various cultures and age groups, I am convinced, hopeful and optimistic to remain a passionate Yoga Archaya.
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel quite extensively and taught in many diverse cultures, meeting with people from all walks of life and backgrounds.
This makes me even more persevere to foster a positive transformative health culture, incorporating wellness initiative into all my practices and teachings.
Hence, the emphasis in my teaching, will be to attain total harmony in health and wellbeing, achieving harmony between man and nature, creating greater awareness on the unity of knowledge and action; and to ensure that everyone understands the importance of silent mind, which is the key to connect the body, mind and soul with the nature and the universe.
I was fortunate enough to have walked through many milestones in the search of a healthy mind and body.
My consistent perseverance paid off with the rewards of extensive & diverse training and experience in many disciplines of Yoga and Meditation, namely Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra; Yogic, Buddhist and Daoist traditional meditation practices, ancient wisdom of TCM and Daoism health and healing practices; and a health preservation inspired practice of the union of Yoga and TCM.
Thus, the unique creation of “Svasthya Yoga” , representing a system that uses the inherent principles of nature, to help cultivate and maintain health in a person by keeping the individual's body, mind and spirit in perfect equilibrium with nature. A true holistic approach to health and life that naturally flows into becoming the 3Hs principle, ie a Happy, Harmonious and Healthy body, mind and life.
The ultimate practice is simply a holistic approach to health preservation, which is widely and easily ignored by most busy individuals today.
